ABOUT KRICKET DESIGN
Vehicle-specific automotive parts, developed by hand in Nova Scotia
Kricket Design is an independent automotive product design and fabrication business focused on developing small-batch parts for enthusiast vehicles. The work combines product design, prototyping, fabrication, fit evaluation, industrial sewing and upholstery.
WHY KRICKET DESIGN
Built around hard-to-find parts for enthusiast vehicles
Kricket Design began with a practical ownership problem: useful vehicle-specific parts for older enthusiast cars are often discontinued, difficult to source or no longer available in the form owners actually want.
The goal is to develop small-batch aftermarket parts that respect the vehicle’s original character, fit the intended application and are carefully evaluated before release.
The first Kricket Design product is an OEM-style rear hatch spoiler for the Volkswagen MK4 wagon, developed for owners who want a subtle, vehicle-specific alternative to universal or overly aggressive designs.

What Kricket Design focuses on
The goal is to create practical, thoughtfully designed automotive products for owners who want parts that suit the character and intended use of their vehicles.
Vehicle-specific products
Parts developed around a particular vehicle and application rather than adapted from generic, universal solutions.
Small-batch development
Products are introduced carefully, evaluated in real use and refined before being offered more broadly.
Fabrication and upholstery
Future work may include moulded components, sewn interior pieces and other practical products for enthusiast vehicles.
